The
Service Coordination Unit performs the service monitoring, linking
and primary advocacy services for consumers. Consumer care
is closely monitored throughout treatment -- from the first phone
call to discharge follow-up.

The Intake
Department of Turtle Creek Valley Mental Health/Mental Retardation,
Inc. provides children, adolescents and adults general information
about the services we offer. It also refers those that are
experiencing mental health, mental retardation or alcohol
and other drug-related problems to one of our various programs.

serves consumers directly in the community by ensuring

Resource
Coordination and Intensive Case Management
RC &
ICM work closely with individuals that have a chronic mental
illness to provide assistance in life skill areas. A service plan is developed through a discussion of personal
needs and desires. Primary services include: monitoring, linking,
coordination and advocacy. Intensive Case Management provides assistance for adults while Resource Coordination provides services for adults and children.

Community
Outreach
Community Outreach integrates mental health and substance abuse
and family support services at a community level. Assistance
is provided in the following areas: the development of life
skills, including stress management, anger management and
problem-solving techniques; enhancing family relationships;
and information and referrals regarding services that are
available in the community.
