Expressive Arts encourages the use of art as a tool in one’s recovery process. The class emphasizes the benefits of participating in artistic activities for relaxation, socialization, goal setting and group & community activities as part of Social Rehabilitation. Artistic skills are not required, but often developed. Activities include; painting, drawing, coloring and other art projects & mediums. Class participants will also have the opportunity to attend and participate in community based art projects, shows and festivals.
